Jupiter's Day

Aimed at pupils aged 11-16, this workshop asks pupils to track the movement of Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, then utilise trigonometry to determine how far Jupiter has rotated, and from there determine how long it takes Jupiter to complete one full rotation. A practical use for advanced mathematics!
